Welcome, my name is Danika Armytage. I’m the founder and director of Big Stories Little Films, Australia’s premium legacy film service specialising in turning life stories into beautiful, short documentary films.
Before starting Big Stories Little Films, I spent my career working as a television producer and director, creating primetime television for broadcast. That experience taught me that everyone has a story, and when that story is told well, it has real power.
Today, my national team of filmmakers and I bring that same professional documentary approach to families through a range of film styles, including Life Legacy Films, Couples Story Films, Family Ancestry Films, and Signature Story Films for professionals.
So whether you wish to record your own story, or seek to capture the memories of someone you love, our films will ensure the stories that matter most are preserved for generations to come.
